Open Thread: 2021 Suggestions

Welcome to this week’s open thread. The new schedule for the Free Market Buddhist is to for essays to come every other week, and open threads on the Wednesdays in between.

As I map out my 2021 plans for this newsletter, I’d love to hear from you on what you’d like to see me write about. I’ve got quite a lot of ideas mapped out, many of them tied into the draft of the book I’m hoping to finish in the first half of this year, but I’d like Free Market Buddhism to be an open dialog.

So what interests you? For example, I’ve found myself wondering if more introductory writings would be helpful. A short primer on the basics of Buddhist belief, or a series setting out the core ideas of Buddhist ethics.

And, as always, please also use the comments in this open thread for any questions you have, or as a place to share ideas of your own.
