I apologize for the long gap between issues. I had life stuff came up that took all my attention elsewhere. Fortunately, that’s settling, and I’m hoping to return to writing next week.
I’m working on the next issue of the newsletter, which will turn to the question of wealth. Did the Buddha think it was wrong to be rich? Did he believe income and wealth inequality were necessarily bad? What does Buddhist ethics say about how we acquire wealth?
But while I’m working on that, I thought it might be fun to hear from all of you. What brought you to the newsletter? What’s your interest in Buddhism? In free markets and the politics of liberty? Go ahead and introduce yourself in the comments—and ask me any questions you might have about the project, Buddhism, or really anything else. I’ll do my best to answer them.
I look forward to hearing from you!
